Job Responsibilities

Process and underwrite new business / re-advance applications.

Partner New and Pre-approved applications.

SME funding applications and EFT applications.

Full credit assessment of applicants.

Complete credit and reference checks.

Achieve performance targets and maintain performance standards.

Meet internal SLAs stipulated per product.

Manage accuracy, completeness, and turn-around times for deals.

Prepare documentation to be used in Risk and Decline Appeal meetings.

Desired Experience & Qualifications

3 - 5 years of underwriting and analysis experience.

Credit risk and/or credit underwriting experience in the financial services sector.

Matric.

Advanced Certificates/Diploma: Business/Finance/Accounting.

Advanced Excel.

Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Adapt well to change.
