Overview

What it’s like to be a Northbridge Underwriter: Our Underwriters provide complete solutions for our commercial clients. This role is part of our Middle-Market Manufacturing & Services team, where we specialize in package underwriting – combining Property, Casualty, Auto, Professional Liability, and Cyber coverages into tailored solutions. Our Underwriters work closely with our broker network to develop unique solutions for all classes of risk and collaborate with our Risk Services and Claims departments to get a holistic picture of each risk and make sound underwriting decisions.

Responsibilities

• Execute renewal rates and exposure, retention, and rate adequacy guidelines.
• Analyze new business for risk profitability.
• Monitor trends and developments, identifying areas of concern regarding loss ratio.
• Build and maintain relationships with brokers and stakeholders.
