**Position Purpose**

The primary objective of this position is to provide quality of care. Responsible for the direct and/or indirect care of patients assigned utilizing professional nursing skills and knowledge.

**Unit Overview**

Med Surg unit with private rooms and has 16 beds.

+ Protects the privacy and confidentiality of patients and employees.
+ Greets visitors, patients, families and physicians and directs them professionally. Addresses patients, families, visitors, co-workers and physicians with courtesy and respect.
