Overview:
Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital is hiring a Registered Nurse Unit Coordinatorfor the Intensive Care Unit .This is a Full Time Night (12-hr shift) position in Charlottesville, VA.
Ideal candidates will have at least 2 years of Registered Nursing Experience in an ICU setting.
The Registered Nurse Unit Coordinator demonstrates proficiency in nursing practice for assigned specialty area and provides clinical leadership for the delivery of nursing care in a department. Under the direction of the department manager leads safety and quality initiatives, focuses on and simplifies workflow, and contributes to the development of staff. Increase staff satisfaction and promotes excellent (Gold Standard) customer service.
ICU: Intensive Care Unit
This is a mixed Critical Care (ICU) 15 bed and Step down (IMCU) 5 bed unit.
