Job Description
Nemlab is seeking an accomplished Unit Head: Nematology to lead laboratory operations, drive research initiatives, and deliver expert technical services. The role is based at the Klapmuts laboratory with occasional travel to satellite sites and industry events, and further offers the opportunity to shape nematology excellence through leadership, innovation, and client engagement.
Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage nematology laboratory testing, reporting, and research activities.
• Oversee laboratory operations, quality standards, and implementation of improved testing methods.
• Provide technical support and specialist advice to clients and stakeholders.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop laboratory staff to ensure operational excellence.
• Plan and provide advice on nematode trials and bioassays.
