Position Summary
The James B. Edwards College of Dental Medicine, Medical University of South Carolina is seeking applications for a full time faculty member whose duties will include:
Director in the College’s Dental External Clinics, Nexton and West Ashley Medical Pavillion (WAMP). This clinical position provides leadership oversight of dental faculty and staff working in these practices. The position will have the opportunity to participate as a clinician in the faculty practice one day per week. Reporting in this administrative capacity to the Associate Dean of Clinical Affairs, the Director will ensure the optimal functioning of the practices and will work with college leadership to expand and improve care provided. Experience with personnel management of dental providers, thorough comprehension of financial operations of a dental practice and experience with dental patient software is required.
