University Chaplain

Duties and Responsibilities

The University Chaplain at Loyola University Chicago reports to and works closely with the Vice President for Mission Integration to assist with overseeing the University’s Jesuit Catholic mission and identity efforts with both internal and external constituencies. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

Serve as the canonical chaplain and rector of Madonna della Strada Chapel working with the Director of Campus Ministry, Campus Minister for Liturgy and Catechesis, and Jesuit Community to ensure a vibrant worshipping community. Responsible for all sacramental record keeping, with assistance provided by the Office Operations and Hospitality Manager.

Participate as a member of the leadership team of the Division of Mission Integration.
