Job Description
Overview
Principal System Administrator (Unix Team Lead) responsible for system administration of UNIX and LINUX servers, ensuring integrity and performance, leading technical design and implementation, and guiding, mentoring, and managing the Unix System Administration team.
Team Leadership & Management
- Lead, mentor, and supervise the Unix/Linux system administration team.
- Manage workload distribution, task delegation, and monitor team performance to meet operational KPIs and SLAs.
- Act as the primary escalation point for complex system issues and critical incidents.
- Conduct regular team meetings, performance reviews, and identify training needs.
