The University of Prince Edward Island is searching for an innovative Tier II Canada Research Chair in Equity in Nutrition, Physical Activity, or Health. Based in the Department of Applied Human Sciences, you will expand the research scope in nutrition, physical activity, and health while contributing to Kinesiology and Applied Health Services Research. Your role will include teaching, mentoring, and engaging with local communities to foster equity.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead research initiatives with active community participation
• Obtain funding for and oversee research projects
• Teach courses and mentor students at all academic levels
• Engage in outreach and service activities
• Collaborate across disciplines for integrated research solutions
