Job Description

Are you detail-oriented with a strong sense of craftsmanship and quality? Heritage Office Furnishings is seeking a skilled full-time Reupholster to join our team. You’ll be responsible for measuring, cutting, sewing, and fitting upholstery fabric to various furniture pieces—restoring and enhancing their appearance and functionality.

Responsibilities
Measure the areas to be reupholstered and create a pattern based on the design specifications.

Cut fabric pieces according to the pattern and fabric direction.

Sew upholstery fabric to fit the furniture framework.

Sew and attach zippers, buttons, and other decorative elements.

Coordinate with team members for additional repairs as needed, such as re-forming, re-springing, and re-webbing.

Quality Control and Safety
Inspect fabric for defects or damage before cutting.
