User Experience Designer

We are looking for a UX Designer to lead the end-to-end design process for the NYC Secure App rebuild and related web resources. The Designer will conduct user research with vulnerable populations, defining critical user journeys, and creating a cohesive content and design strategy that prioritizes clarity, accessibility, and trust across all relevant surfaces.



TASKS:

• Conduct Stakeholder & User Research: Lead interviews and user research with elderly residents, immigrant communities, and other effected populations to understand their specific challenges and needs for prevention and reporting.


• Develop User Personas & Journey Maps: Map the end-to-end experience of a victim seeking help, from the initial scam contact to the 311 referral and the digital resource landing page.


• Define Functional Requirements: Translate user needs into technical design requirements for the app...
