Become a vital part of Vancouver Coastal Health as a full-time Psychiatrist at Richmond Hospital. This position integrates community-based care with outreach, focusing on mental health and substance use services.
The Richmond Mental Health and Substance Use Services seeks a dedicated psychiatrist to serve as part of the Richmond Adult Mental Health Team and the Assertive Community Treatment team. This full-time role (1.0 FTE) will allow you to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team while providing essential care to adults facing severe mental illness. You will also have opportunities for academic involvement, mentorship, and leadership development.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct ongoing assessments and treatments for serious mental illnesses
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in community settings
• Provide intensive care management for complex cases
• Participate in medical training for students and residents
