Job Description
Responsibilities
- Prepare vehicle surfaces by sanding, masking, and priming to ensure a smooth and even base for paint application.
- Mix and apply paint using appropriate techniques and equipment, including spray guns, to achieve a flawless finish that matches the original color or customer specifications.
- Inspect painted surfaces for imperfections such as runs, sags, or dust, and perform necessary touch‑ups and corrections to meet quality standards.
- Maintain and clean painting equipment, including spray guns, booths, and tools, to ensure proper functionality and prevent contamination.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is a solid starting point for this role.
- Possession of a relevant trade school certificate or vocational training in automotive painting is highly desirable.
- Certification from a recognized automotive painting program, such as I‑CAR, demonstrates commitment and expertise....
