As a Verification & Automation Engineer, a typical day might include the following:
Responsibilities
- Maintain advanced technical knowledge and skills to contribute to the development and enhancement of integration and automation features in SEL mission critical communication products.
- Define, develop and analyze product specifications, functional tests, and system validation and verification processes.
- Set up real communication networks to instrument with third‑party testing equipment to verify correct operation with automation strategies.
- Develop scripts to debug and optimize R&D product development phases.
- Diagnose customer‑reported problems with integration and communication features and document issues for developers.
- Provide technical and market analysis to evaluate proposed products or enhancements.
