Job Description
Responsibilities
- Perform safe and effective physical, chemical and behavioural restraint on patients.
- Diagnose medical conditions using a wide range of diagnostic modalities available, including clinical pathology (haematology, biochemistry, endocrinology, immunology), diagnostic imaging (radiography, ultrasonography, computed tomography), microbiology, cytology and more.
- Formulate treatment or management plans for individual and herd/flock health.
- Perform basic soft tissue and orthopaedic surgeries.
- Perform invasive and non-invasive endoscopic procedures.
- Practice evidence-based medicine that is pragmatic for the animals.
- Perform basic laboratory tests.
- Present cases and communicate opinions effectively at various forums.
