Veterinarian (DVM) Acting Medical Director - Carrington Animal Hospital

Responsibilities

• Clinical work, with approximately 5–10% of time focused on Medical Director responsibilities.
• Work in partnership with the National Medical Director to create and sustain an environment conducive to high‑quality, competent veterinary care.
• Manage challenging cases and emergencies independently.

Qualifications

• DVM with 7+ years of experience.
• Advanced expertise in complex internal medicine, surgical and dental procedures, and multimodal treatment planning.
• Strong independent decision‑making skills and experience managing challenging cases and emergencies.
• Experience in leadership, mentorship, past business management or practice ownership, and demonstrated teamwork and emotional intelligence.
• Hold or be eligible to hold a Private Practice license in British Columbia.
