This position is located in Kennett Square, PA (Chester County) which is approximately 33 miles outside of Philadelphia. There is no public transportation to this location. You must have your own transportation. 

Job responsibilities include:

  • Assist in the preparation and circulation for all surgical procedures in a large animal hospital. Knowledge of aseptic technique, operating various surgery table and overhead hoist systems, assisting the surgical team in donning surgical attire, and table setup
  • Prepare and maintain equipment for Pool Recovery System, assign tasks, and guide personnel/students throughout Pool Recovery System
  • Maintain Usual Surgical Requests and surgery logs, update Department SOP’s, enters appropriate billing information into EMR
  • Clean and maintain all Central Supply equipment and stock
  • Independent operation of steam autoclaves, ETO sterilizer, and other equipment
