BluePearl Pet Hospital is hiring an exceptional Veterinary Technician in Ophthalmology!

This position will be in Ann Arbor Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and most Thursdays. Fridays are at our Southfield location.

As an Ophthalmology Veterinary Technician, you will help diagnose and treat ophthalmic diseases in companion animals.

As an Ophthalmology Veterinary Technician, you will:

• Perform basic ophthalmic diagnostic tests (tear quantity, glaucoma testing, ulcer testing) and help hold patients for detailed ocular exam
• Perform advanced ophthalmic diagnostic testing (retinal electrical function, etc.)
• Set-up and assist with procedures and surgeries that restore comfort and vision ranging from outpatient procedures to basic and complex surgeries
• Outpatient procedures: diamond burr debridement (to stimulate corneal healing), CO2 laser (to remove eyelid margin masses)
