A well-capitalized, product‑led fintech on a clear path to $100M ARR is seeking a VP of People to join its leadership team in Toronto. The role reports directly to the CEO and will own the full People function – talent acquisition, HR business partnering, compensation design, performance management, learning & development, and workforce planning. Define and drive a people strategy to support scaling from ~150 to 300+ employees while preserving a high‑performance, high‑trust culture. Build and lead a small People team (TA, HRBPs, L&D). Design and implement a competitive, transparent, and sustainable compensation philosophy and banding structure. Partner with hiring managers on structured, repeatable recruiting processes, including senior and executive‑level searches.
