Summary About the Position: As a Victim Advocate in the SHARP program, you'll support service members, families, DoD civilians, and contractors affected by sexual harassment and assault. Your role is to establish vital connections with law enforcement, legal, medical, and community partners to build a robust support network. Responsibilities Provides comprehensive assistance, information, and referral to victims of sexual assault and sexual harassment, offering advocacy and educational services to service members, family members, DoD civilians, and contract personnel, when authorized. Conducts advocacy support, safety assessment and planning, and needs assessment for adult victims of sexual assault, providing a non-clinical response that is trauma-informed and recovery-oriented.
