About the Role
This important role focuses on early identification and response to family violence, ensuring patients and whānau experiencing abuse receive safe, effective, and culturally appropriate support. You will work across hospital and community settings, providing leadership, education, and coordination to ensure staff are equipped to respond to family violence and child protection concerns.
Key aspects of the role include:
- Coordinating and implementing the VIP service across clinical areas (including Emergency, Maternity, Child Health, Mental Health, and more)
