Job Description
**MANTECH** seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented VMware **Virtualization Systems Engineer** to join our team in **Chantilly, VA** .
This role supports the engineering, administration, and modernization of the Sponsor's virtualization infrastructure. You will leverage your technical expertise to maintain enterprise-grade infrastructure virtualization and end-user computing solutions deployed across the environment.
**Responsibilities include but are not limited to:**
+ Build, configure, monitor, upgrade, and troubleshoot environments using the VMware vCenter server running VMware ESXi hosts for versions 8.0.
+ Create, configure, and manage virtual desktop environments by building, deploying, and maintaining desktop pools within Omnissa Horizon View Server version 8.0.
+ Monitor desktop health, troubleshoot pool issues, and manage how the Horizon View Server interacts with the vCenter Server.
