Central Valley High School Volleyball - Varsity Assistant Coach (Season begins in August, 2026) Salary: Based Stipend $3,350 - $5,360 Up to 60% longevity based on GTA Salary Schedule - Appendix H

Requirements: Applicants must meet the qualifications of the Gateway Unified School District. The school district will consider knowledge, competence, skill, experience and program leadership in hiring all coaching applicants. The applicant must possess:

• 3-5 years of coaching experience
• Strong Communication Skills
• Valid CPR and First Aid Cards
• NFHS Coaching Certificates:
• Concussion in Sports
• Heat Illness Prevention
• Sudden Cardiac Arrest
• Fundamentals of Coaching
