Job Roles and Responsibilities

Collect blood, urine, stool, sputum, and other biological specimens.

Label, prepare, and store specimens correctly.

Ensure proper handling and transportation of samples.

Laboratory Testing

Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests in hematology, biochemistry, microbiology, immunology, and pathology.

Analyze specimens using laboratory instruments and equipment.

Conduct quality control checks before testing.

Result Analysis and Reporting

Record and verify test results accurately.

Identify abnormal findings and report them to the supervising pathologist or physician.

Maintain confidentiality of patient information and laboratory records.

Equipment Maintenance

Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instruments.
