Warehouse Leading Hand

The role

reports directly to the Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for supervising daily despatch operations, coordinating warehouse activities and leading a small team of 8 to 10 to achieve service level targets while maintaining a strong customer-first culture.

Key Responsibilities Despatch Operations

Manage daily outbound warehouse operations in line with company standards and procedures.

Ensure all customer orders received prior to 2:30pm are despatched on the same day.

Prioritise and allocate work to the despatch team throughout the day.

Release orders and manage workflow to meet service level agreements and delivery deadlines.

Ensure all EDI scan-pack orders are processed and released within required delivery windows.

Identify and escalate issues impacting order fulfilment, including stock discrepancies, staffing or system issues.
