Job Description
Responsibilities
- Carry out safety checks on the truck, material handling equipment (MHE) and any other equipment used in warehouse operation.
- Unload stock from supplier vehicles, collect supplier documentation and receiving labels.
- Check goods and highlight discrepancies.
- Escalate missing or additional stock to line manager.
- Manage material handling equipment (MHE) as per Standard Operation Procedure (SOP) to move and place stocks at racking or any other designated location.
- Scan assignment label and pick stock according to instructions from the arm mounted terminal.
- Apply the dispatch label to the pallet and take to the marshalling area.
- Take stock to the designated picking grid and assemble stock to the correct store lane.
- Secure a full pallet or roller cage ensuring it is neatly stacked and safe.
