Job Description
Watertrain are looking for an experienced Water Technician Coach to provide coaching support to their apprentice technicians.
This is a full time/permanent position.
We are looking for someone who has extensive experience as a Water Technician and now wants to share their knowledge to new apprentice technicians.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and structure on-the-job coaching activities that reflect real-world water network operations, ensuring apprentices gain practical competence in line with industry standards.
- Deliver practical, experience-led training sessions, drawing on real site scenarios, faults and operational challenges of up to 15 learners.
- Coach and assess apprentices on core water industry skills – including leakage detection, repairs, network maintenance and safe working practices. This is both off and on site.
