Job Description
Do you have 6 months of previous HGV Class 1 experience? If so, apply today to work as a Weekend HGV Driver for our client, a logistics and distribution company responsible for transporting goods between warehouses, suppliers, and customers.
Staffline is recruiting Weekend HGV Drivers in Northampton.
Consolidated rates of pay £20.00 - £20.70
Various shift patterns, various start times and ad-hoc shifts.
Your Time at Work
As an HGV Driver your duties include:
- Operate articulated heavy goods vehicles.
- Plan and follow assigned routes, ensuring timely deliveries while complying with road safety regulations and traffic laws.
- Carry out daily vehicle inspections (walkaround checks) before and after journeys to ensure roadworthiness.
- Assist with loading and unloading goods when required, ensuring items are handled safely and correctly.
