Job Description
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
- Operate welding equipment (MIG, TIG, Stick, Flux-core).
- Set up and assemble components prior to welding.
- Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions.
- Inspect and test welds to ensure structural soundness.
- Repair broken or cracked parts using welding techniques.
- Use measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, tape measures) to verify dimensions.
- Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and workspace cleanliness.
- Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet project deadlines.
- Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Certification from a welding school or technical program preferred (AWS Certified Welder).
