Responsibilities
- Weld components made of various metals and alloys according to specifications.
- Recognize and diagnose welding defects and take corrective action.
- Read blueprints and technical drawings; use common hand tools and measuring instruments.
- Apply knowledge of welding techniques such as arc, MIG, TIG, etc.
- Work in hot or cold conditions and be aware of safety hazards involved in welding.
- Communicate effectively and work independently or in teams.
