Job Description
Core Responsibilities Reading & Interpretation:
Reviewing blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings to determine exact measurements and welding sequences. Material Preparation:
Cutting, grinding, and cleaning metal surfaces to remove rust, debris, or imperfections before welding. Equipment Setup:
Calibrating and operating welding machines (e.g., MIG, TIG, Stick, Flux-Core) and other hand tools. Welding Execution:
Fusing metal parts in various positions (flat, vertical, or overhead) while monitoring heat and material warping. Quality Control:
Inspecting completed welds for structural integrity, defects, and adherence to specific industry standards. Equipment Maintenance:
Conducting routine maintenance on welding equipment and keeping the work area safe and organized. Typical Requirements Education & Certifications:
Welder 6G, TIG, MIG, SAW, SMAW, GTAW
