<p><p><b>POSITION SUMMARY <br> </b>The Licensed Practical Nurse position assesses and passes medication to residents, reports to physician any changes they have, reports to charge nurse, updates family members, and assists CNAs.</p> <p><b>ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES</b></p> <ul> <li>Administer medications to residents while following the 5 Rights.</li> <li>Report any allegations of abuse, neglect and misappropriation to Director of Nursing and Administrator.</li> <li>Report any change in condition to the charge nurse.</li> <li>Assist CNAs with answering call lights and other responsibilities.</li> <li>Update physicians, family members, etc. of change in condition as needed.</li> <li>Perform other duties as requested.</li> </ul> <p><b>REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS </b>Required qualifications to effectively perform job.
