Description

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develops and implements the Nutrition Services and Education component of the Special Supplemental Food Program for Women, Infants and Children (WIC). This role provides nutrition education and counseling to participants of the program.


SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

+ Acts in the capacity of the Qualified Nutritionist (QN) by providing participant centered nutrition services and high-risk counseling to WIC participants. Performs all other QN duties as necessary.
