Wintel and Active Directory Engineer

Job Description

As our Wintel & AD Engineer you’ll oversee the management and optimisation of NEXTDC computing and storage infrastructure, including Active Directory, Windows Server environments, and Hyper‑V virtualisation.

Here you will drive the overall health and performance of NEXTDC systems, designing solutions for scalability and high availability, supporting Azure integrations, and managing storage solutions.

• Designing and implementing scalable solutions for Windows Server environments (2016, 2019, 2022), Active Directory, and Hyper‑V virtualisation
• Overseeing the architecture, maintenance, and optimisation of Group Policies, DNS, DHCP, and FSMO roles
• Developing and testing disaster recovery plans, manage backups, configure failover clusters, and ensure minimal downtime in case of system failures.
