Job Description
Join OSM Thome as a Wiper on a modern car carrier trading worldwide. Work closely with the engine crew, support safe and efficient engine room operations, and build solid sea service for your future career.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Assist engine crew with daily engine room duties and maintenance
- Carry out cleaning, chipping, painting, and general upkeep in machinery spaces
- Support bunkering, lube oil transfer, and other engine room operations as directed
- Follow all safety procedures and use proper protective equipment
- Report any faults, leaks, or unsafe conditions to senior engine staff
**Requirements**:
- Valid STCW certificates for Wiper/Engine Rating as per flag requirements
- Previous sea service in the engine department preferred
- Good English communication skills
- Medically fit for sea duty with valid medical certificate
- Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
