Woodhull - Certified Midwife, per diem

We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Certified Midwife-Woodhull, per diem.

In this role, the successful candidate Under general direction of the Director of the Midwifery Service, the midwife assumes responsibility and provides health care services in accordance with the standards of Midwifery Practices as defined by the American College of Nurse Midwives (ACNM) and Midwives. This care includes (1) the management of care of the essentially healthy woman and newborn throughout the childbearing process and (2) the management of the gynecologic and inter-conception needs of the essentially healthy woman.

Job Responsibilities:

Participates in assigned prenatal, family planning and postpartum care as a health care provider, accepting responsibility for medical evaluation and management according to departmental guidelines and policies.
