Job Summary:

The Nursing Assistant is responsible for providing clinical and administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the Wound Care Center. This position works collaboratively with all members of the healthcare team provides support to Providers, administrative staff, nursing staff, and patients through a variety of tasks that support the ultimate goal of providing excellent, high-quality patient care.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Perform intake and discharge; check vital signs, height and weight, perform sugar testing, specimen collection.
Perform direct patient care to patients under RN supervision and within the Nurse Assistance scope of practice.
Observe patients for reactions to drugs, treatments, signs and symptoms or other medical conditions and immediately reports to departmental supervisor (MD, NP, RN, or LPN).
