X-ray Technologist Full Time (Days)

Seeking a full-time day shift X-ray technologist.  Provide portable X-Ray / EKG services to skilled nursing facilities. · Take high quality radiographs / EKGs  · Explain procedures to patient/staff and answer any questions · Communicate with a diverse range of patients and staff professionally and empathetically · Image evaluation · Maintain x-ray equipment and vehicle · Maintain patient records; adhere to HIPAA Adjusting equipment and calming patient to eliminate test artifacts.

Distributing completed films into Medimatrix software system.

Cleaning and sterilizing equipment and workspace.

Recognizing equipment malfunctions and readjusting equipment or writing referrals for repair.

Instructing patients in pretest preparation, answering questions, and explaining procedures.

Maintaining equipment according to Infection Control procedure.
