Yardperson / Labourer

Due to substantial growth and major contract wins, a leading multi discipline construction firm is looking for an experienced yard person to join them on a full time, permanent basis. Due to the busy nature of the company the successful candidate will be required to order materials, prepare machinery and handle all issues at the depot to ensure each project is pre prepared the day before starting. Typical Responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Ordering & quality control of materials Collection of plant Machinery and towing back to site on a trailer Use of a telehandler Occasional site work (Groundworks) as/when required Jet washing and cleaning down of equipment Skills Knowledge and Experience required: Previous experience as a machine operator would be advantageous Physically capable of heavy lifting Previous site work and experience of dealing with building suppliers would be beneficial Clean driving licence for vehicle and trailer Previous telehandler experience wou...
