Yield Defect Metrology Technician

Position Overview

As the Yield Defect Metrology Technician, you will support defect review activities, including classification, validation, and disposition of hold lots. You will help maintain quality standards while contributing to high‑quality execution, minimizing defect noise, and driving data‑driven defect reduction initiatives that support yield improvement and cost reduction.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and analyze defect images from diverse metrology tools and classify them accurately based on documented specifications.
• Validate defect classifications against established criteria, work with Layer Owners to ensure consistency, and feed manually classified data to improve Automatic Defect Classification (ADC) accuracy.
• Disposition hold lots in compliance with documented Out‑of‑Control Action Plans (OCAP) and maintain proper documentation and traceability.
