Young Adult Recovery Peer Advocate





Location: Westbury|Schedule: Full Time 35 hours per week| Salary:23.63/Hour

The Opportunity

The Young Adult Recovery Peer Advocate provides peer-based recovery support to young adults ages 18-24 residing in recovery residences across Long Island. This role offers one-on-one coaching, mentorship, and on-site recovery support to promote stability, personal growth, and sustained recovery. Recovery Coaches assist participants in navigating early recovery, building life skills, and accessing social, vocational, and community resources.


Responsibilities


+ Provide one-on-one peer recovery coaching and on-site support to young adults residing in recovery residences, using lived experience and recovery-oriented practices.

+ Build trusting, supportive relationships that promote self-efficacy, accountability, and individualized pathways to recovery.
